We require a working joiner / foreman for small and medium sized office fit-outs and refurbishment projects (value from £10,000 to £500,000).
Role and Responsibilities
Working on several projects at the same time, you will co-ordinate subcontractors and own staff to ensure a timely completion of the programme set out for each project.
You will check that all works are being carried out in accordance with the drawings and specifications, whilst monitoring the quality of materials used and workmanship on each project.
You will be responsible for Health & Safety on site including PPE equipment.
You will liaise with the client on project progress.
You will also be required where necessary to undertake small scale joinery works (fit tea-points, hang doors,snag items).
Experience and Attributes
Effective verbal communication skills when dealing with the workforce, suppliers and clients.
Good organisational and time management skills and a high attention to detail.
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
Salary: £18,000 - £26,000 (depending upon experience)
